Frequently Asked Questions
Q... How do I become a consignment vendor or service provider?A... Contact boutique to see if there is space available. Then, download our consignment agreement on the VENDOR PAGE and have a look at the terms. Stop by the boutique to have a chat with the manager to open your account. Bring a printed and completed agreement and you're ready to sell once your account has been approved.
Q... How can I pay my Vendor Fees?
A... We can accept first deposits and rent via PayPal, CashApp, or Messenger pay on Facebook. Or you can pay at the register in the store. Subsequent rents will come out of payouts with accounting when the full balance is available through sales.
Q... I only have a small tray of pendants to sell, can I rent just one square foot?
A... Yes! We have spaces available to accommodate small and large vendors, including shelf space in display cases for small items.
Q... Can I have more than one booth under different brand names or with different products?
A... Yes! We can accommodate multiple accounts or brands from a single consignor, although we recommend keeping the same vendor number so your payouts can be in one check.
Q... Do I have to participate in sales and special promotions?
A... No, although we recommend marking down items that haven't sold within 5 or 6 weeks. Stagnant inventory makes customers lose interest. We recommend rotating your inventory and displays at least monthly to keep patrons interested in coming back for new things! Also, try to stay in season.
Q... I'm new to this. Is training available?
A... Yes, we will host monthly Vendor meetings with tips and tricks on how to increase sales, improve brand awareness, and how to market your goods to bring in new customers.
Q... Can I track my sales online?
A... Yes! Our software is cloud based so your sales can be viewed in real time.
Q... I don't have a tag printer for barcode stickers or tagging materials, Can I have them printed and attached at the boutique?
A... Yes! If you don't have your own barcode tag printer, we can print them for you on location for a small fee to cover cost of materials. You can either make your own tags and attach the barcode tag stickers to your own tags in our vendor room, or you can purchase boutique branded tags in bundles for your barcode stickers to attach. All items need to have a barcode sticker for scanning. We also have tagging guns and barbs available at checkout.
