What do brand partners get that regular vendors and service providers do not?
1. Creative Input and votes on changes or activities brought to our collective space. Because you have more risk and investment in the business than others, your ideas hold more power and position. We would like to hear from you. If we make a major change in space design or calendar routines, we'll ask for popular vote from our brand partners first before making those changes. Better yet, we'll invite you to participate in the layout, design, and upgrades in the areas that are up for redesign and build out, especially if it directly impacts your brand.
2. Advertising opportunities. Brand partners have the option to have their brand logos added to the storefront windows so a passersby know your brand is an anchor to the establishment. The vinyl installation shall be at your own expense and shall be installed by a professional sign installer and may remain on the window for the duration of your brand's placement in our store. Brand partners also have an opportunity to have their logos and profiles added to our website for more click through traffic and exposure to our online patrons. Also, brand partners may place business cards and flyers in designated areas. There is no fee for the advertising opportunities for brand partners. Other vendors would need to pay for these opportunities to be included.
3. First right of refusal on available space. Occasionally, vendors come and go. When a vendor leaves and new space becomes available, our brand partners will have first dibs on expanding their brands into more retail space before we assign it to a new vendor. There will be a 3-day period where new space is on hold for existing brand partners to claim available space first. If it isn't claimed, it will go to the next vendor on the waiting list.
4. Opportunity to trade rent for service hours. Brand partners have an opportunity to trade part of their rent for working hours as a store clerk. The opportunity allows brand partners to chip away at rent at the rate of $12 hour (subject to change as state wages increase) So a 20-hour work week is $240 potentially knocked off rent in exchange for service hours. It's a great way to share the load and minimize operating expenses. Opportunity will be as hours are available and shall be scheduled on team calendar at least 3 days in advance so proper notice can be given.
5. SpellBox Subscription participation: When we have monthly subscription boxes to fill, the value can be divided between multiple vendors to get a cut of the subscription payout. For a $30 box, $10 of the budget covers merchant service fees, shipping and handling. The $20 leftover can be divided up to four ways for up to 4 vendors to add items of value to the box. If four vendors participate, each will be paid $5 from the subscription payout per box filled. If one vendor fills the entire box, $20 will be paid out to that vendor. The box value should total about $50 for the patron, so it's a great way to unload sale merchandise to move it out of active inventory. SpellBox opportunities will be posted in the store as they become available. Participating vendors may include business cards and promotional materials in the box at no charge.
6. First Dibbs on Calendar Dates for Events (excluding major holidays and sabbats which will be reserved for storewide special events). The community space and reading rooms are available for reserve by the hour, block, or day. Brand partners may trade clerk hours in the retail store in exchange for scheduling use of either the community space or reading room. Use of the spaces may be for profit, so this is a great opportunity to create a big chunk of cashflow if you're creative and smart about how you utilize the space.
Normally, those rent fees go to the business for use of the space. Those fees help cover operating costs and create budget for special events etc. A brand partner may choose up to 4 days a month in space use and reserve up to 4 weeks in advance before most other clients have access.

Brand partnership is valid as long as the vendor abides by terms mentioned herein.
